{Engagement: Molly and Shán} Night and Day

admin

Opposites attract.  Shán is a quiet/shy guy and Molly is very sociable and seems to mix well with any company.  Molly's blonde hair and beautiful, blue eyes and Shán's dark hair and mysterious, dark eyes makes them appear like day and night.  Honestly, they fit perfectly together.  One thing they aren't opposites on is their absolute kindness and their passion they share for each other. Shán works for the US Navy.  With such a short period of time they had together before he had to return, I was so thankful that they were willing to let me capture their engagement.  What a blessing it is to see their love for one another!

When I met bubbly Molly, I knew right away I wanted to shoot her wedding.  I'm so excited to be a part of their spring wedding.  She was so sweet and I love that she was willing to step out of the traditional for their engagement pictures.

During the shoot, I was so excited to show Molly one of the pictures.  I showed her the view screen.  She started to tear up.  I started to tear up as well. HOW COULD I'VE NOT??  Well, to keep the tear from flowing, I followed up by "singing" the first thing that came to mind.  "I've Got a Lovely Bunch of Coconuts". WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME? Danced a little jig and... So we laughed and moved on. Don't judge, this is why I'm BEHIND the camera.

We ended the shoot with a positive outlook, and I hurried home to see what we had.  I've never processed pictures so fast.  I was so excited to show Molly and Shán.  I was happy with the picture- and thankfully, my whole goal, Molly and Shán liked them as well!

Thanks for viewing!
