Canal 337 | Downtown Indy Wedding | Rachel & Jake

The white flowers growing along the canal stretched toward the sun, leaning out over the peaceful water and letting their blossoms blow in the breeze. A raft of ducks paddled by in the water, disturbing the tranquil surface. Rachel and Jake paused near the beautiful flowers while walking along the canal. Standing close together, Rachel looked up at Jake with adoration. He gazed back at her with strong reverence, and then kissed her on the forehead. With the glow of the sun behind them, the moment felt and looked sacred on their heavenly wedding day.

After so many rainy days when Steve and I were shooting weddings over the past few months, it was nice to have a sunny day where we did not have to worry about the rain. It was also great that Rachel and Jake had one of the most fun weddings we've ever captured. They also surprisingly made Steve and I tear up more than any other wedding in recent memory. It was so heart felt and loving, yet so funny and joyous at the same time. It was a great mix of emotions. Rachel and Jake had awesome fanny packs that they wore on the day, Rachel's fanny pack being made from the same material as her dress. They also gave unique fanny packs to each member of their bridal party as well as colored glasses for the dance floor. They gave fanny packs to all the guests as wedding gifts as well, stuffed with glow sticks, bracelets, buttons and other fun mementos. Steve and I loved it! We had so much fun capturing this merry festivity at Canal 337. It was a blast!
