{Wedding: Betsy and Matt}

I loved shooting this wedding.  Betsy and I go back to where I first began my business.  She holds a special place in my heart because she is one of the reasons I'm doing this today. I was selling all of my leftover wedding things, and this is where met Betsy and her mom.  They over heard me talking to my husband about photography, and asked, "Are you a photographer?"  I was hesitant to say yes because I had never done anything for a profit and felt a little rusty from my days in college, where I studied photography and shot every day.  Betsy's mother got my contact information and I ended up shooting both of her daughter's weddings.  It was an absolute blessing that she was there that day.  I have no idea where I would be or what I'd be doing if i hadn't met her.

Betsy and her bridesmaids got ready in an old school house on her church's campus.  It was definitely a wonderful location to shoot all the getting ready shots.  Betsy dress was perfect for her, sweet and gorgeous.  She looked so elegant.

Betsy is a sweetheart.   She was so laid back, and I don't think I ever saw her without a smile.

Their ceremony was in a catholic church with a traditional catholic wedding service.  I couldn't believe the beauty of the church.  When I arrived, I was not expecting what I saw, a gorgeous catholic church in the middle of nowhere!

It was a beautiful service. They shared their vows, while some of the guest shed some tears.  After it was all over, they had a bubble send off in front of the church.

At the reception, guest were always on the dance floor.  They attracted the older crowd by playing several songs for square dancing.  I loved seeing so many people on the floor!  It made for an awesome photo opportunity.  Towards the end, the groom pulled the bride around on a ride.  It was composed of a old school desk, wood, wheels, and a rope.  The guest loved it!

Betsy and Matt, it was so wonderful to be a part of your day!  I'm sad it's all over but I'm so glad you guys are together because you are truly perfect for one other.  Best Wishes!
